Phoenix Allies for Community Health

Phoenix Allies for Community Health's (PACH) is a nonprofit dedicated to improving health outcomes in marginalized low income communities of working poor who have minimal access to primary care. PACH is a unique facility where the care the patients receive is truly integrative: allopathic and naturopathic practitioners work together to provide quality care, free of charge. Currently, the PACH clinic provides continued care to over 400 patients of all ages and demographic backgrounds. Health education is a vital component of the clinic, including nutritional counseling, diabetes education and stress reduction. SCNM students provide nutrition and lifestyle counseling, therapies for chronic disease such as diabetes and hypertension, natural pain interventions such as acupuncture and prolotherapy, and much more. Medical care, nutritional supplements and basic labs are free of charge for patients seen at the clinic. Students get to interact with patients in underserved communities and gain experience using a number of modalities.
